Active Time
Segment Session Filter
The Active Time filter is in the segment filters section under Session. Using the Active Time filter returns a list of all users and their sessions with an active time of a certain duration.

Note!
Data collection for the Active Time property begins after September 28th, 2022. All sessions prior to this date have an empty Active Time value.
Definition of Active Time
A user is considered "active" when they perform any of the following types of user action events:
- Mouse events
- Keyboard events
- Touch events
- Scroll
- Navigate (in-tab and cross-tab)
If the user is interacting with the page with any of the above user action events within a threshold of four seconds, SessionStack classifies that part of the session as active and it counted towards the active time
Configuration of the Active Time filter
The filter is with 6 radio options:
- "is" - will return a list of all users who have at least one session with an active time equal to the value specified in the search criteria.
- "is at least" - will return a list of all users who have at least one session with an active time equal to or greater than the value specified in the search criteria.
- "is at most" - will return a list of all users who have at least one session with an active time equal to or less than the value specified in the search criteria.
- "is greater than" - will return a list of all users who have at least one session with an active time greater than the value specified in the search criteria
- "is less than" - will return a list of all users who have at least one session with an active time less than the value specified in the search criteria.
- "in range" - will return a list of all users who have at least one session with an active time in the range of the values specified in the search criteria.

The Active Time filter accepts values in a variety of time units. You can select seconds, minutes, hours, or days.
